1991-1995 Jeep YJ & TJ
Airboss systems provide enough air to run air tools with ease without over taxing the system. We use only top of the line components that meet our rigorous standards, including the state-of-the-art York Compressor. All brackets are made from ¼” or 3/16” laser cut steel, and then zinc plated for corrosion resistance and proper compressor grounding.
System installation is straightforward and all necessary components are included in the kits. Our components are thoroughly tested and designed to work together.
Installation Notes:
- For non-AC equipped vehicles with 5 point pulley drive system only (see diagram). If you have 6 pulleys, see part KE-1550-6K.
- Fits 1991-1995 Wrangler YJ & TJ models with 2.5L & 4.0L engines without factory AC.
- Mounts the compressor on the existing factory AC mount.
- The factory air cleaner will need to be replaced with an after market unit such as K&N # RU-0960 or equivalent.
- Will not work with a V-groove style clutch on the York compressor.
- 2.5L equipped vehicles can either stand the compressor upright or lay it on its side. 4.0L equipped vehicles must lay the compressor on its side, unless there is adequate hood clearance.
